England Euro 2020 Squad Numbers Revealed

England EURO 2020 squad numbers revealed

Phil Foden opts for No.47, Bukayo Saka No.7 and Jordan Henderson No.8

The Three Lions will don their white home shirt for all three of their EURO 2020 group matches starting with Sunday's clash against Croatia at Wembley.

Phil Foden has opted to wear the No.47 shirt for England at EURO 2020, the same number he wears for Manchester City. The 21-year-old has worn the No.47 shirt for City since his debut for the club in 2017, and he has also had the number tattooed on his neck. Foden was offered the No.10 shirt when City hero Sergio Aguero left the club in 2021, but he chose to keep the No.47 shirt.

Bukayo Saka will wear the No.7 shirt for England, the same number he wears for Arsenal. The 19-year-old has had a breakout season for the Gunners, scoring 12 goals and providing 10 assists in all competitions. Saka is expected to start on the left wing for England in their opening game against Croatia.

Jordan Henderson will wear the No.8 shirt for England, the same number he wears for Liverpool. The 30-year-old has been a key player for the Reds in recent seasons, helping them to win the Champions League and Premier League titles. Henderson is expected to start in midfield for England in their opening game against Croatia.
